Poonam Solanki, BDS MSD
Dr. Solanki’s passion for saving teeth motivated her to become an Endodontist. Providing relief from pain and giving comfort to her patients gives her great satisfaction. She treats every patient just like family and does her best with utmost care and compassion. She likes to practice evidence-based dentistry to provide the best care possible.
Dr. Solanki completed her Masters degree in Endodontics and was awarded a Certificate in Endodontics in 2011, from Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine, Cleveland, Ohio. Previously she also received her Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree from India in 2005. While at Case Western, Dr. Solanki received the Best Resident Award. She also received the American Association of Endodontists Top resident award for her poster presentation on her research on inflammatory cytokines and periapical pathology. Her research has been published in an international journal.
Dr. Solanki is active in a number of professional organizations including American Association of Endodontists, American Dental Association, Illinois state Dental Society and Peoria district dental society.
When not serving the needs of her patients, she loves spending time with her two kids and her husband Kumar who is a practicing nephrologist. She enjoys cooking and loves listening to music.
